Fall Day Painting & Baking Layout

fall day (17)

Happy October!  Here’s a two-page scrapbook layout from last fall where we did some baking (caramel apple muffins) and a fun panting.      The boys painted the outside of the mason jars and then we put tea lights inside to make a Jar-O-Lantern.  It’s a super fun fall craft for a rainy day!

I used my sewing machine to do a stich across the bottom strip and top strip of pattern paper.  Then I popped up the circle tags & the journal block to add some dimension.

This layout is based on a sketch from Allison Davis’ “One Page Sketches Vol#2” found at Scrapbook Generation.  I love using her sketch books and for this layout turned the one page sketch into this two page layout.

  1. Great layout! Lots of pictures, and bold, but still plenty of space for your eye to rest and not too fussy. Love how you did the journaling!
