Mister Huey's Color Mists (83)

Hello, I’d like to thank everyone who visited Laurel Lane on Friday & over the weekend for the exciting ScrapbookSteals Blog Hop.  It was such fun to participate in this event and most of all I really loved “meeting” so many new people through all of the comments on the post.

It’s really exciting to see how by just taking photos of your crafty work you can share with so many people around the world.  One my favorite things about scrapbooking is being able inspire others to want to use a particular product, create new things and get ideas.  I really love it and would love to see the results when you try out Mr. Huey’s mists or the wood veneer shapes.    Please do “lift” anything that you see, as a result I’ll have a big smile on my face.

Also, thank you to all of you who decided you’d like to see more of my projects and started following Laurel Lane!!  (Heidi, Miriam, Karey, Mo, Cathy, Ruth, Jen, Cathryn, Jessica, Ashley, Gail, Cindy, Deborah, Marcia, Megan, Brenda, Beatrice, Sandi, Deb, Laura, Kathy, Kerys, and Beatrice L.)  I love interacting with other scrapbookers through this blog and can’t wait to get to know you better.

Congratulations to Megan Smith who won the $20.00 gift card from ScrapbookSteals.com!  I am sure it won’t be hard to use that gift card on one of the upcoming awesome steals!

Now on to the winner for my drawing…. I exported all of the comments into excel and picked a random number from all of the comments by followers.

Ashley Starkey your comment was selected!

I am going to send you a box with some scrapbooking goodies. Including card #3 made with the boss lady color mist and the wood veneer butterflies. (photo below)   Hooray for you!

Later this week, I’ll be sharing a few photos from the misting process and some tips I learned.  I also hope to try out some of the other wood veneer shapes (arrows, hearts, cameras) soon.  I just need to find some good papers to pair them with.

  1. Congrats to the winners! Thanks, Laurel, for your sweet invitation to follow and share! I can’t wait to see what’s next! I’m certainly loving all the wonderful wood veneer butterflies!

    • Thanks Kyetra. Once you get back at it, it gets so easy because they are so quick! (compared to layouts) I didn’t used to do them much either but now after doing a layout I try to see if I can use some of my scraps to make a card or two.
