up up and away cards

what's up cards_may 2012 (5)

I created these three cards from the “Scraplift This” card idea designed by Joy Taylor on the BasicGrey blog this week.    I’ve wanted to try out this recent colorful BG paper and seeing Joy’s card gave me motivation (I am learning I get so much more completed when I go with what inspires me versus having a set list of things to complete following a strict order).

I created three similar cards with the various patterns & embellishments.

#1-pennants in the sky

#2-flowers blooming (using for an invitation)

#3-hot air balloon ride

Which card is your favorite?    Thanks for the inspiration Joy!!

    • Hi Jen! Thanks for commenting. 🙂 For now I am going to need to send everyone to your Esty store (glassthorpedo) to check out your beautiful pendants.

Gwen’s been eating the lovely white/green round pendant that I already wore twice last week.

  1. WOW!! absolutely adore your cards and take on my card, they truly are masterpieces, thanks for playing along with the Scraplift at Basic Grey..hugs

    • Thank you Joy! It’s so much fun to get an “assignment” to carry out, so motivating and fun to see what everyone creates. Love your work & your blog. “less is more” is such a great headline, It’s so true and something I try to remember daily.
