Here’s a layout that I made while on holiday break. This was another fun one to make with Nordic Holiday collection. The snowmen paper and chipboard accents are so adorable!
I used one of Allison Davis’ two-page sketches. I’ve followed the sketch mostly but squeezed in one more vertical 4×6 to include 6 of my favorite photos from this afternoon.
The green & red color combo seemed to go well with Gavin’s jacket. What a fun time he had playing in the snow. I hope we’ll get some snow this year, so far nothing!
After taking these photos I think that the area around the big snowman looks empty. I’m planning to add some red crystals stickers to add a little more color around the snowman & hearts.
I’ve said it before but I just love all the sweater like patterns in this line. These hearts are my favorite, love the needle point detail! This makes 6 layouts I’ve done with the Nordic Holiday collection. I am done for now but I do have a bit more supplies left so I will try to make 1 or 2 more with Nordic Holiday when I get back to holiday layouts.
Starting to plan for our upcoming scrapbook retreat weekend where I am hoping to wrap up all my 2010 layouts.
Supplies: Pattern paper, chipboard elements – Basic Grey (Nordic Holiday Collection), Letters-Thickers, Cardstock-Bazzil, Sketch- Allison Davis- Two-Page Sketch #9 (Scrapbook Generation).
I love the glitter font. And, I’m jealous you had snow this winter!
Thanks Claire! This was TWO years ago! No snow yet. Hopefully soon!
Adorable layout, not to mention the great smiles you captured. The green paper goes so well with the colors in the photos.
