Happy New Year! I am so excited about 2013. Tonight I have been writing down some of my personal goals for the new year. Just thinking of the things I’d like to cross off my craft goal list makes me excited.
Today I’d like to share a winter snow layout. These photos were taken two years ago during our holiday break. I love having time off from work and being able to do day trips up to the pass to enjoy the snow.
Gavin loved the snow and had a great time building “lig-loos” with daddy. After seeing these pictures I can’t wait to get out to play on the slopes or go tubing.
This layout is based on an Allison Davis (Scrapbook Generation) sketch. I decided to add my journaling block to the left side of the layout because I wanted the blue/white plaid pattern to show through. I added some snowflake circle accents to add some detail to this bottom panel.
I love the snowflakes in this collection. Especially the polka dot navy & red one above. Polka dots are my favorite!!
Happy 2013!!

Looks like a fun snow adventure! In your goals, how many blog posts do you expect in 2013? on the heals of the successful 12 days of Xmas…my guess is a lot.
Oh that’s a good question….I’ll need to come up with a a goal!! I do have a goal number of layouts I’d like to complete during the year so that might be a good starting place. Would you reccomend I do the same as 2012 or less?
Love the pictures! What a super fun day in the snow.
Thanks Alice!
Love the color combination, beautiful!
Thanks Ali for the comment and checking out my post!
What a beautiful way to decorate your photos and remember the experiences.
Hi Marta! Thank you for coming to visit and for looking at my layouts. It’s quite the addicting hobby.
